Mrunal Kumbhar
Graphics Designer
I’m Mrunal Vijay Kumbhar, a Graphic Designer at UR Digital since 2025.
So how did I become a graphic designer?
Well, it all began with my love for art. As a child, I would spend hours drawing and sketching, and over time, I started redesigning existing logos just for fun. That’s when I realized how much I enjoyed transforming ideas and concepts into visuals that could tell stories and simplify complex ideas.
To turn this passion into a career, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Woxsen University, Hyderabad, where I graduated in 2025. My time there helped me understand the fundamentals and principles of design, visual communication, and creative problem-solving.
During my graduation, I published a research paper titled “Effects of Music Therapy on Depression, Anxiety, and Mental Illness” in the Naad Nartan Journal of Dance and Music in 2023. This project allowed me to combine creativity with research and explore how art and design can impact human emotions and well-being.
To gain industry experience, I completed an internship with Digital Sadhus, a marketing agency. There, I learned the importance of time management, teamwork, and attention to detail. I also got hands-on experience in social media design, marketing campaigns, logo creation, and branding for various clients — experiences that strengthened my creative and strategic thinking.
Beyond work, I’m someone who loves sketching realistic portraits, playing badminton (I’ve even competed at the state level!), and spending time with dogs — my constant source of joy and calm.
As a designer, I believe that visuals have the power to communicate emotions and stories that words sometimes can’t. My goal is to keep creating designs that not only look beautiful but also make people think, feel, and connect. A quote by Steve Jobs that goes like ‘Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.‘ inspires me every step of my journey as a graphic artist.
I hope you now know a little more about me and my creative journey. Have a great day!
