I’m Pulkit Agrawal, the Founder and SEO Director at UR Digital — a role that began long before the business ever had a name.

My journey into SEO began long before UR Digital existed. Back in 2005, when I was working as a network engineer, I read a book about SEO and Google during my daily commute. One book led to another, then another, and before I knew it, I had fallen in love with the power of search.

Of course, knowledge is one thing; practising it is another. Nobody wanted to trust someone who hadn’t “proven” himself yet — nobody except my father. He handed me his business website, and my SEO work on it helped him rank on Google. That small win turned into word-of-mouth, and soon enough, I was helping more businesses grow.

For almost two decades, I’ve stayed obsessed with understanding how people search, how algorithms evolve, and how businesses can meet their audiences in the most honest, helpful way possible. Over the years, my SEO expanded into GEO, Digital PR, ASO, semantic search, and now AI-driven answers — areas that constantly challenge me to think ahead, rebuild, and rethink everything I thought I knew.

But the journey wasn’t always smooth. In 2019, URADICS was functioning quietly in the background as a white-label provider. Our largest (and only) account left us overnight. And suddenly, everything I had built felt like it collapsed in a single moment.

I sulked for almost two years — questioned everything, rebuilt everything, and eventually, realised that the only way forward was to create something of my own, on my own terms.
That’s how UR Digital was born, in January 2021.

Today, my philosophy remains simple:
“Never say or do something you wouldn’t be comfortable with yourself.”
It guides how I lead, how I make decisions, and how I show up for the people I work with. What I care about most is helping businesses grow, giving my team clarity, and continually pushing us — and myself — to stay curious, adaptable, and future-ready.

Outside SEO, you’ll find me tinkering with drones (yes, some do fly), losing at Monopoly depending on who you ask, and offering Old Monk–flavoured wisdom at the right moment.

UR Digital is the work of my life — not because of the algorithms or rankings, but because of the people who choose to build it with me. And that’s a story I get to keep writing every day.
