Hi, I’m Sreearavind S, a content writer with UR Digital since 2025.

As a kid, I used to listen to at least one story every day—until someone told me I was too old for that and handed me a Malayalam comic book featuring all my favourite characters. That moment sparked a turning point: fearing I might miss out on great stories, I learned my alphabets and dove headfirst into the world of reading.

This moment didn’t just teach me to read; it shaped the next 20 years of my life, leading me to earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Literature, along with a PG Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism. Alongside my family, my love for stories has been my greatest constant.

My career began as a journalist at Mathrubhumi, where I researched and wrote news stories that connected with readers. I then moved on to a PR Executive role at the Centre for Public Policy in Kochi, where I learned that crafting press releases was really an art of storytelling in disguise. Later, I spent nearly four years as a media analyst with a well-known multinational corporation.

Joining UR Digital was a conscious choice driven by my desire to reconnect with my passion for writing on my own terms—a freedom I felt slipping away in previous roles. Right from the very first interview, it was evident that the content team at UR Digital not only shares my core professional values but also matches my genuine enthusiasm for writing. After having spent three months here, I can confidently say that joining UR Digital was one of the best decisions of my life.

Of course, no bio of mine would be complete without mentioning my deep love for movies and filmmaking. It’s a natural extension of my passion for stories, and I make it a priority to dedicate time each week to watch films and learn the craft of filmmaking.
